Professor Alexander M. Matveenko, President of Moscow State Aviation Technological University, visited Tsinghua April 26 and signed an agreement for cooperation between his university and Tsinghua. 

Tsinghua President Gu Binglin met with President Matveenko and gave him an overview of the School of Aerospace. President Matveenko then gave an introduction of Moscow State Aviation Technological University.

The two presidents discussed potential for cooperation between the two universities, and later signed the Memorandum of Agreement between Tsinghua University and Moscow State Aviation Technological University.

President Matveenko visited the School of Aerospace, Institute of Microelectronics, Department of Physics and the Department of Chemistry, and delivered a speech to Tsinghua students.
