Professor G. J. van Luijk, president of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in The Netherlands, visited Tsinghua September 27 and had a talk with Tsinghua President Gu Binglin.

The two presidents gave outlines of the recent development of their respective universities and exchanged ideas on the development, international exchange and cooperation in nanoscience, astronautics, and energy of TU Delft and Tsinghua.

Professor Luijk and President Gu said they hoped more collaboration could be built between the two schools in the future. 

After the talk, Professor Luijk visited Institute of Microelectronics, Tsnghua Network Center, and Center for Aerospace Technology Research.

Early this year President Gu visited TU Delft, which is one of the leading universities in The Netherlands.
