A delegation from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), led by NTNU Rector Torbjorn Digernes, visited Tsinghua University on Oct. 25.

Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe held a meeting to welcome the 15-member delegation. The group discussed the cooperation possibilities in scientific research between Tsinghua and NTNU as well as faculty and staff exchange.

Several seminars were held between the delegation and the School of Architecture, INET, and the departments of Thermal Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, and Chemical Engineering after the meeting Oct. 25 and on Oct. 26.

NTNU has seven faculties and 53 departments, with a student population of 20,000. Eighty percent of the technical professionals of Norway graduated from NTNU.
