Tsinghua alumni Chai Jijie and He Kaiming were awarded the 2023 Future Science Prize, a prize initiated by a group of scientists and entrepreneurs that focuses on original basic science research. Jijie received the award for his groundbreaking discovery in disease-resistant bodies, and Kaiming for his proposal of deep residual learning benefiting the development of AI.
