The primary responsibility of the Corporate Procurement Associate is to support the Corporate Procurement Division (CPD) for the procurement transactions of goods and services, with immediate focus on assisting the Senior Procurement Specialist in IT procurement activities.
As guided by the Senior Procurement Specialist, specific responsibilities of the successful candidate include but are not limited to:
●Effectively implement AIIB's corporate procurement policies and procedures in providing procurement services to designated requesting departments.
●Perform procurement tasks for AIIB's requisitions for Goods, General Services and Consulting Services in the e-procurement Ariba system.
●Ascertain that complete requisition has been provided.
●Conduct market analysis and sourcing of suppliers.
●Conduct bid comparison, rationalization and analysis.
●Conduct price analysis and contract document preparation.
●Prepare bidding documents, evaluation reports and other related paperwork.
●Identify appropriate commercial obligations and contract templates and perform contract management duties.
●Assist in the performance evaluation of suppliers in collaboration with concerned departments.
●Provide support by backfilling on roles as required based on workload/resource capacity limitations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and above in Commerce, Supply Chain Management or similar field is preferred 3-5 years of relevant work experience
●Knowledge and experience in IT procurement preferred
●Proficient in English, both oral and written
●Familiar with Office365 applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
●Has strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
●Capable of working with diverse groups from different businesses and multicultural interfaces
●Excellent team player
●Ability to work with minimum supervision
●Organized and can prioritize tasks according to importance

2.Admin Assistant/ Corporate procurement
Title: Admin Assistant/Corporate procurement Assistant
Department: Facilities and Administration Services Department (Corporate Procurement Unit)

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Head of Corporate Procurement Unit (CPU), the Corporate Procurement Assistant is responsible for assisting the unit to effectively deliver corporate procurement activities. Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to assist in a range of transactional-procurement support activities, in compliance with AIIB corporate procurement policy and procedures.
Administrative Tasks:
●Assist Head of CPU in his daily management of the team and operations, including tracking procurement process, arranging meetings and taking meeting minutes, etc.;
●Assist CPU team members in their daily admin needs including travel/meeting logistics arrangement;
●Support other ad-hoc CPU related tasks as assigned by the unit head.
Operational Tasks
●Assist in various steps in the entire procurement cycle;
●Assist in preparation and issuing procurement documents as per relevant procurement templates;
●Expedite key milestones of sourcing and contracting process as required;
●Provide administration support to CPU regarding contract signing and distribution, archiving, invoicing and payments, etc.;
●Collect and analyze data for procurement reporting and analysis;
●Facilitate both internal and external meetings;
●Support ad-hoc CPU related tasks as assigned by the unit head;
●Work as backup to support Supplier Registration and supplier management.
Candidate Requirements:
●Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in large financial organizations or other relevant sectors;
●Basic knowledge and experience of international procurement practice would be an advantage;
●Strong task related problems solving skills;
●Able to work under pressure with strong team working spirit;
●Proven oral and written communication skills in English;
●University degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, law, etc.
