Working together with Global MOOC and Online Education Alliance, Tsinghua University launched the Global Hybrid Classroom (GHC) in 2021, attracting more than 600 students from overseas universities, to actively build up a global classroom.
In order to integrate systematic curriculum resources, attract more talents from different fields worldwide, Tsinghua University further launches the Global Hybrid Classroom Certificate Programs.
The 10 programs cover finance, applied economics, logic, environmental governance, electrical engineering, AI and big data, social science, AI of Things, and engineering management.
Each certificate program consists of 3 or 4 GHC courses. Students from partner universities worldwide can join and earn a certificate after successfully completing the required components.

Program introduction
This program provides a comprehensive and systematic introduction to financial knowledge for aspirants to the financial industry.
Students are expected to understand the basic framework of modern financial analysis and be able to apply what they have learned to project valuation, risk analysis, corporate investment decision-making and investment management.

Program introduction
The program has four modules, in each module, main theories of a field will be introduced, and the practice and policies related to China’s reform and opening up will be discussed and analyzed.
Students are expected to master the basic theories of Public Finance, Development Economics, International Trade, and International Macroeconomics, and understand China’s economic-related policies.

Program introduction
In this program, we introduce the most important results in modern logic and the related issues in philosophy, mathematics, and computer science in general. In the classroom, students receive training in making a proof, constructing a model, and getting the meaning of a sentence. The program attracts students who are seeking to broaden their horizon or gain more in-depth understanding of logic as an interdisciplinary subject.

· Environmental Governance
Program introduction
In order to cultivate more international environmental governance talents, the School of Environment of Tsinghua University has organized relevant courses in this field and set up the certificate project of Environmental Governance.
The certificate project is committed to cultivating talents engaged in China's and global environmental governance through learning the analysis methods, policy instructions and project development of environmental problems, so that overseas students and Tsinghua University students can combine relevant interdisciplinary background knowledge, expand students' global vision and national and regional background, and improve their ability to analyze and solve problems of resource and environmental sustainability.

· Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering
Program introduction
Climate change and energy security are the top global concerns today. Electrical energy is currently the most widely used secondary energy, and its clean and low-carbon transformation plays a pivotal role in ensuring energy security and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As a result, electrical engineering plays an important role as a discipline that studies the production, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy.
This program is designed to introduce basic and core knowledge to students and researchers interested in electrical engineering, including "Principles of Electrical Circuits" related to power transmission and distribution, "Automatic Control Systems", a basic and professional course related to system control technologies, "Electric Machinery Fundamentals" on the working principles of motors, transformers and other equipment, as well as the "Fundamentals of Power Electronics" widely used in renewable energy integration and new smart grids.

· Advanced Courses for AI and Big Data
Program introduction
Since 2010 when it launched a graduate program in advanced computing for international students, the Department of Computer Science and Technology has developed a curriculum system including 14 courses taught in English, which was nominated by Forbes as one of the world’s top ten graduate programs in artificial intelligence and data science in 2020.
Since 2021, the Department has risen to the difficulties in teaching caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, developed more scenarios for teaching, launched quality courses to universities overseas, and attracted more than ten students from universities overseas to its courses through hybrid teaching.
Based on the plans and visions of the Ministry of Education and the University, the Department plans to further integrate hybrid classrooms. Five courses are offered, of which Combinatorics and Algorithm Design is compulsory, and students are required to take three out of the remaining four electives. Certificates will be conferred to students who finish the courses and meet relevant requirements.

Program introduction
The program of Advanced Topics in Finance will cover a large amount of financial theoretical knowledge, latest capital market case studies, classic theories and methods, as well as the frontiers of finance and capital markets.
Based on general knowledge of international capital markets, the program will take into account the reality of Chinese capital markets. Students are expected to understand how to become the elite of capital market operation from theory to practical operation.

Program introduction
Dedicated to training talents engaged in China and world studies, this program is an excellent choice for those who would like to understand China and the world in the new era but have no time and opportunity to get a relevant degree.
The program is expected to enable students from overseas and School of Social Sciences of Tsinghua University to leverage their own social science knowledge, expand their countries and regions background, and enhance their ability to participate in international affairs.

Program introduction
In order to cultivate more innovation talents of science and technology, the Global Innovation Exchange Institute of Tsinghua University offers the certificate program of “Artificial Intelligence of Things”. This certificate program prepares students to develop AIoT that address complex real-world problems.
This series of courses help learners understand the background and cutting-edge technologies of IoT, laying the foundation for a deeper understanding of the new industrial revolution era we are living in. Additionally, these three courses provide interdisciplinary project oriented education by case-study based approach and picking problems to work with that brings together various aspects of data gathering and organization, signal processing, and machine learning for AIoT Applications and Embedded Systems design.

Program introduction
This program focuses on the field of industrial and engineering management in China, helping students understand the development status, important innovations and practices of Industrial and Engineering Management in China, and understanding the characteristics of Chinese culture and society.
The program provides a wide range of elective courses for students around the world. Through the study of this program, students can understand the latest developments in Chinese industry, Chinese engineering, Chinese culture and society, understand the management and service concepts, leadership and communication skills of Chinese enterprises, so as to cultivate students' cross-cultural vision and Chinese perspective, build up the basic knowledge and skills necessary to manage international industrial projects, especially overseas Chinese industrial projects, and enhance their career competitiveness in the global context of the new era. To earn the certificate, students will need to complete four of the seven courses offered.
