At 9:30 a.m. on May 4, members of the Tsinghua University Mountaineering Team successfully completed their climbing training on the 5396-meter Haba Snow Mountain; they returned on May 7.

The mountaineering team consisted of 20 climbers, 19 of whom successfully completed the climbing training program. One member withdrew due to altitude sickness at an altitude of about 4,800 meters.

The climbing training on Haba Snow Mountain was held as part of the mountaineering team’s preparations for its upcoming summer mountaineering activity.

Haba Snow Mountain is located to the southeast of Shangri-La City. The mountain is covered with snow all year round above 4,700 meters above sea level, and peaks at 5,396 meters. There are well-developed glaciers in its upper regions.
