Tsinghua University recently signed cooperative agreements with five art academies, marking a collaborative effort to redefine the landscape of art education development.

The five academies are: the Central Conservatory of Music, the Central Academy of Drama, the China Conservatory of Music, the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, and the Beijing Dance Academy.

Tsinghua Vice President Peng Gang highlighted the significance of art education in fostering creative thinking and its pivotal role in talent cultivation. "Tsinghua boasts a rich tradition in aesthetic education. Many Tsinghua scholars engage in academic exploration across diverse fields, utilizing their professional skills to serve the nation and drive societal progress," said Peng.

This collaboration is expected to promote synergy in art education.Tsinghua aims to strengthen further interdisciplinary integration of art with such fields as science, psychology, and the humanities, enhance the quality of talent cultivation, and propel continuous innovation in the realm of art.
