SOE, Tsinghua Jan 9th, 2015 China presented its most prestigious awards in science and technology on January 8th. Chinese President XI Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang attended the awarding ceremony held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Two achievements conducted by researchers of SOE were honored the prizes. The research on flue gas selective catalytic reduction of NO completed by LI Junhua and HAO Jiming, the first two researchers of the project, and other cooperators won a second prize of State Technology Progress Award. Another research on the key technologies of high-resolution emission inventory of primary pollutants of regional air pollution, conducted by HE Kebin (first researcher), WANG Shuxiao (second researcher), WU Ye (sixth researcher), JIANG Jinkun (9th researcher), won a second prize of State Science and Technology Progress Award. It was the first time that SOE won the state science and technology awards as the first completion organization.
