Tsinghua's Atmospheric Pollutants and Greenhouse Gases Synergistic Control Team, received the National Engineering Award, the nation's highest honor in the field of engineering in a ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on January 19.

The team, led by Professor Li Junhua from the School of Environment and comprising 15 core members, was recognized as the National Outstanding Engineering Team. Their groundbreaking work in the advanced treatment and resource recovery of multi-pollutants in industrial flue and exhaust gases has set new standards in environmental engineering.
