On March 15, 2023, the Party Committee of the School of Vehicle and Mobility and the Party Committee of the Department of Precision Instrumentation held a joint learning and co-building activity. They delved into the implementation of the spirit of the university-wide faculty and staff meeting and the concentrated training session for all party members. The activity aimed to advance the implementation of "Tsinghua University's Comprehensive Action Plan for Implementing the Spirit of the 20th Party Congress" and promote high-quality development of party-building work. Bai Benfeng, the Party Secretary of the Department of Precision Instrumentation, chaired the event, which was attended by Li Shengbo, Party Secretary of the School of Vehicle and Mobility, the deputy party secretaries Luo Yugong and Nie Bingbing, Wu Guanhao, Deputy Party Secretary of the Precision Instrumentation Department, and 15 others including branch party secretaries and party office staff from both departments.

During the thematic speech session, Bai Benfeng introduced the overall situation of the party-building work in the Department of Precision Instrumentation. Starting with the basic situation of the party committee and the construction of party branches, he focused on the initiatives and positive outcomes of the department's party committee in leading high-quality development with high-quality party-building, covering areas such as theoretical learning, talent cultivation, team building, and discipline development. The party branch secretaries of the Precision Instrumentation Department's Institute of Lasers, Fu Xing, and the Navigation Center, Hu Peida, shared the work of their respective party branches in terms of theoretical learning, distinctive practical activities, and party member development.

In the free exchange session, attending teachers passionately discussed topics such as the deep integration of party-building work with core work, innovation in talent cultivation models, and service to the self-reliance and self-strengthening of science and technology. They focused on summarizing experiences and making recommendations for high-quality development led by high-quality party-building. Li Shengbo noted that the exchange activity was very enlightening and provided much inspiration by learning about the characteristic work of the Precision Instrumentation Department's party committee and party branches. The School's party committee will continue to enhance the level of party-building work to drive the high-quality development of the School's various endeavors.
