The 4th International Conference on the Past, Present and Future of Chinese Economy was wrapped up at Jinchunyuan Hotel, Tsinghua University on December 16, 2017.
The conference was co-hosted by the Institute of Economics, the School of Social Sciences and the Institute for Innovation and Development, Tsinghua University, and has received nearly 50 papers submitted by a few universities at home and abroad, which were rich in content. The event set up six salons covering fields such as macro-economy, environment, population, health, trade development, political economy and industrial organizations, which were held at two venues at the same time. Present at the conference were nearly 30 experts and scholars from countries and regions, including the U.S., Australia, Japan, Macao, Taiwan and Pakistan.
The conference takes place in December each year, and excellent articles submitted to the event will be included in the special issue of the International Review of Economics and Finance, a SSCI journal.
